THE SHOP ON SELVÆR

In 2016, a cooperative bought the former prayer house: Since then, this has been a long success story with the entire community involved, in every conceivable way. This shop was started as a charity and is run jointly. We pick up goods on the quay, fill the shelves and bake for the café. Just to name a few. We are simply proud of our store. This year, Maren has taken over responsibility for the operation, and until the autumn with Cameron as employee.

SOLID PRODUCT RANGE

How are you? The store is actually in balance. Here you get everything you can expect from both groceries and equipment, but you get the fresh fish best yourself from the sea or from the pier. (See a series of photos further down from the store.)

- This store actually has a larger selection and far better service than our own convenience store in Oslo, one of Selvær's regular guests could tell, while he stood and enjoyed himself with a strawberry basket. - And the prices are not much to complain about either.

OUR LITTLE CAFÉ

Here you get a nice chat with an ethnic self-indulgence or three for a cup of coffee and something to eat. Just drop by and see for yourself. We have a small self-service cafe, with both indoor and outdoor space.

POST OFFICE

So far, the postal service has moved from the post office to here. If you need a mailbox and free access to it, contact the general manager, Maren. You can also withdraw up to NOK 1,000 in cash.
